Reverend Father Alin Virgiliu Munteanu was born in Ludus, Mures, Romania in 1972, December 27. He was educated in Romania at Theological Seminary of Cluj Napoca and Theological Institute of Sibiu and Alba Iulia receiving his Bachelor Degree of Art of Theology. He attend also University of Timisoara and has a Master Degree in Marketing, Management and Human Resources.

In 2004 he received a Certification of “Iconom Stavrofor” (Very Reverend Father). In 1993 he was ordained a priest at St John Monastery in Alba Iulia, by Archbishop Andrei (Andreicut).

He served in Oiejdea-Alba Iulia as Parish Priest until September 1st 2004 when he was appointed to serve St John the Baptizer Romanian Orthodox Church in Glendale, Arizona USA.

Beginning with September 1st, 2007 he was appointed Parish Priest at Exaltation of Holy Cross Orthodox Church in Phoenix Arizona USA.

In 1993, Rev. Alin Munteanu married Sonia. She is a nurse. She holds a Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor Degree in Art of Theology. They have two children, Stefania and Teofil.
